Hey guys I have talked with Dennis (owner of DRE (http://www.enginediapers.com)) and he said he would help us out on price of a dipers for everyone. He would like to get 10 or so lined up before a price is setup.

So anyone interested PLEASE get with me, I have to get a new one anyway, and NOSVette is getting one too

They are a good idea. They CAN be customized for certain needs, but most people that say i cant....can. I aint trying to sell them, but they are a good idea and cause less downtime if somn does go wrong (even though downtime saved me one race this year!!!).

Do me a favor and edit your posts to add engine/car info. Not sure it matters, but it could. Not details, just SBF with side kick out pan...or whatever...and maybe add any mods to the frame/headers that could cause issues. If it gets too crazy Ill have you talk to him direct.

OK here it is folks. Need paid orders. We got a single layer heat shield sportsman diaper for $(PM me) and the (best deal) double layer (3000 degree heat shield AND kevlar lined) for $(PM me)

NOTE: His site shows Kevlar for $169, that is NOT what we are getting. That is the low level, no heat shield like I had. Needless to say I am upgrading due to burning it up.

Now with that said, the std diaper configuration will cover MOST applications. if you have stock engine mounts, thats different and needs communicated, or if you have an oversized pano (bolt thru style) that may be slightly more too. Please mention accordingly. Regularly $250 and $300+ respectivley. Many tracks are starting to mandate it, and I am guessing NHRA will eventually.

Anyway, there it is. I hope I have helped some of you to decide, but its a real good idea. No markups either, this is a straight deal ($). Get with me on details, but I am more than willing to pick them up for you and get them to the next meeting or first event, pre paid of course.

It only takes once to tear your car up OR both cars on the track possibly. Cheap insurance.

Ok I went and picked up mine and Steve's last night. Dude these are WAY mo' betta than the $169 version i bought the first time. WOW! I cannot imagine hurting this one. he showed me alot of the differences in various version of his, ie ones with stock mount cutouts, etc....very nice.

Coros, if you are still interested, could you measure the widest portion of your pan for me? Need to know so we can make sure to get you the right width one. The std size covers most, but just incase I wan tto make sure you dont need an XL.
