ok guys give me some input whats the consensus on storing the car for the winter as far as do i drain the carb and cell? will it keep over winter? fuel stablilizer? what does evry one else do?

Many people I talked to last winter said do whatever you feel is right. I also stored a bunch of parts in some E80 for about 3 months and nothing looked to happen. I drained all of mine and left it open to evaporate as quickly as possible hoping not to let anything dry out ....not sure its right, but I drained it all. hell its going to evaporate anyway, may as well put it in somn you can save it in.....

In the above link read what 383 bird did- I feel it is way overkill but to each their own. His is not a pure drag car- it is an infrequent street car in winter. He put a ball float in his cell vent (great idea- better than a seal one might forget when you go racing) and he put a small tank and pump to prime the carb bowls with gas for shutdown.
I do not see anyone else going to such extremes but his being in a humid state (Tennesee) and it being driven infrequently in the winter- I guess it makes him more comfortable and after all- it is his rig.
