Who runs what vacuum pumps, and what is your thoughts/experiences? My combo HAS to have one for 2010...I barely made it through the year without it.

they are great. no oil leaks. free hp just dont get crazy with the vac. and dont run the belt tight, it tends to take the bearings out of the front of the pump when the belt is too tight. If I had room there would be one on the s-10.

I run a four vane Moroso Vacuum pump. I have this one for 10 years... I just just take it apart and clean it every time the engine is out... A new vane / rebuild kit from Moroso is $100.00. Mine still has the original vanes and you know what they have been thru...

I'm going to be trying to find a way to mount/run one on my combo for next year as well.

ordered. If your hardcore on the looks of one, Aerospace is the way to go...but I dont want to have to buy another one later if it dont flow quite enough. I have heard from many about the cleaning of the Moroso ones is a must and a pain to get apart at times. Sounds like Duane doesnt really have too much difficulty doing it, but I'd like to not have to do it too often.

Here is an interesting chart. Seems all tests were done comparativley. My suggestion, weigh out the bang for the buck, service intervals, etc.

If ya order one from these guys, tell em I sent ya..... I talked to a few others that runs theirs and say they have had to do NOTHING to theirs and they pull the vacuum needed.

got mine today. for the money/flow/ease of install, it looks like a good buy...

After I ordered mine I found this one. it will be pricey I think once you buy all the other stuff to go with it, but it looks pretty cool as far as function goes. Internal check valve, etc. Just FYI for anyone shopping for one. Corey found this...
