You nitrous guys running alcohol solenoids or just the standard gasoline solenoids?

Any issues thus far?

I know those alcohol solenoids are for methanol, which is way more caustic...Just wasn't sure if the ethanol caused problems too.

std.... I soaked about every material I could think of in E85 for 3-4 months and there was absolutley no change in any of them. Different kinds of rubber, bare aluminums, steels, etc.

No problems .....yet.

The only issue I ever had with leaking seals and ethanol was in the retail E85 world-- the initial recommendations back in '04 and '05 were to use methanol or M85 certified hardware for E85-- swivels and nozzles would last 2-7 months and then leak on the first cold morning. I went to standard gasoline equipment and life jumped up to more than 2 years. Since then equipment has been made specifically for E85 and life is very good but no better than the gasoline equip.
Conclusion-- methanol is not ethanol and even though compatability charts for seals show great overlap -- other than perhaps buna N (which sorta works) most gasoline seals are more than adequate for ethanol but a few seal that are ideal for methanol leave a bit to be desired. Frankly when one studies the charts- it is gasoline that is compatible with the fewest seal materials but methanol with the fewest metals. Ethanol sits in the middle and if kept fresh and dry rarely causes problems.
